Entrance Examination & Admission Process

Admission to the Post Basic B.Sc. The nursing course is conducted through the PPMET Entrance Examination, organised by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, generally held during May–June each year.

  • Qualified candidates are admitted through University-Level Counselling to affiliated colleges.

  • College-Level Counselling is conducted for vacant seats (if any) as per BFUHS notifications.

  • Information regarding counselling and admissions is published on the college website and in leading newspapers.

Eligibility Criteria​

Candidates seeking admission must fulfil the following conditions:

  • Must have passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an institution recognised by:

    • Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC)

    • Indian Nursing Council (INC)

  • The institution must be situated in the State of Punjab

  • Must be registered as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council

  • Must have passed GNM as a regular candidate from a recognised institution in Punjab (for State Quota seats)

  • Candidate must submit a Regular Study Certificate from the Principal/Head of the last attended institution

  • Matriculation Certificate (Date of Birth) – 2 Photocopies

  • 10+1 Detail Marks Card – 2 Photocopies

  • 10+2 Detail Marks Card – 2 Photocopies

  • 10+1 & 10+2 Regular Study Certificate – 1 Photocopy

  • DMC of all years of GNM – 2 Photocopies

  • Character Certificate from last attended institution – 1 Photocopy

  • Migration Certificate from last attended University/Board/Council – 1 Photocopy

  • NOC from other State Board (if applicable) – 1 Photocopy

  • Entrance Test Result Card (Downloaded from BFUHS website, if applicable) – 1 Photocopy

  • Gap Year Certificate (if applicable) – 1 Photocopy

  • Tuition Fee Deposit Slip (University Fee)

  • Passport Size Photographs – 5

  • RN & RM Registration Certificates – 2 Photocopies

  • Experience Certificate (if applicable) – 1 Photocopy
